Wood Upon the Water
Wood upon the water,
What a symbiosis to be,
Fluid, free, but sturdy,
Through insecurity.
To flow amongst the river,
But not diminished as you run,
By plant, pool...person,
Or evaporating sun.
To be free and yet so strong,
To fill an empty heart,
Yet be so cedar strong,
As not to break apart.
To change, yet to remain,
True to who you are inside,
Crystal clear to the eye,
With nothing left to hide.
What a symbiosis we have,
My humble, wooden, friend,
To compliment each other,
Till our very end.
